I am planning a backpacking trip into the Arrigetch Peaks the last week in August and would like information on flight costs for two people with 50 lb. packs. I am interested in either landing on either Takahula Lake or Circle Lake and leaving from the same. Also, are there regular flights to Coldfoot from Fairbanks and approx. the cost of round trip for that?
Thank you,
Tom

I am wondering the exact same question as Tom Zajicek; how much would it cost to fly two people from Fairbanks to Takahula Lake or Circle Lake?
Thank you,
Mike
I went to the Gates last summer backpacking for ten days. I went over to Oolah Lake (NE corner) not Circle Lake. It cost about $400 to fly from Fairbanks to Bettles. Bettles is closer than Coldfoot to your destination. Check with Wright Air Service dot com for rates from any nearby town to you wilderness destination. It’ll depend on how many are flying in, how much gear you have, and where you want to be dropped and/or picked up. As you can see from these great photos, the trip is incredible.
What’s the air cost from Fairbanks to Arrigetch Creek area?
Hi. Just wondering if you ever sell your photos. My husband and I just went on a flight-seeing tour over the Arrigetch peaks and just were not able to capture the beauty of them with our camera from the little bush plane we were in. I am particularly interested in the last photo in this gallery since it is more representative of what we saw from our flight. Thank you!
